At Haberdashers’ Slade Green Primary, we aim to engage pupils to be excited and enthusiastic about geography, as they are taught through a carefully planned curriculum tailored to their specific contexts and underpinned by the national curriculum. This learning is enriched as learning in geography is a combination of both social and natural sciences. Children excel as they are taught substantive and disciplinary knowledge rigorously, making links to how, where and why it forms part of their everyday lives. A high-quality geography education will inspire in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
Our humanities leader is Miss Crook.
