History
At Haberdashers’ Slade Green Primary, we aim to engage pupils to be excited and enthusiastic about history, as they are taught through a carefully planned curriculum tailored to their specific contexts and underpinned by the national curriculum. This learning is enriched through the rigorous, relevant and practical teaching of the key knowledge. Children excel as they appreciate the awe and wonder of history, making links to how, where and why it forms part of their everyday lives. A high-quality history education will help pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world.
